STORY OF AN INSTAGRAM

HELLO ALL....!!!!!!!

Instagram began development in San Francisco, when Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger chose to focus their multi-featured HTML5 check-in project, Burbn, on mobile photography. 

As Krieger reasoned, Burbn became too similar to Foursquare, and both realized that it had gone too far. 

Burbn was then pivoted to become more focused on photo-sharing.

The word Instagram is a portmanteau of instant camera and telegram.

SO BEFORE INSTAGRAM IT WAS BURBN.

BURBN → INSTAGRAM.............................................................................

When BURBN was in use. People often use it. So it made kevin to get disheartened and planned to drop the development of the app.

In one fine evening when kevin was with his girlfriend walking through a beach, Kevin asked his girlfriend.,will you use BURBN..? She replied ... yes..ofcourse... I do..!!....but she gave kevin a valueable feedback which he later developed the app to instagram....which it was the pictures uploaded in BURBNs were of less quality.....

That's why instagrams were provided with N-number of filters....
